Comparison sliders & labels
Configure before/after labels and the default view mode for the comparison viewer.
The heart of the gallery is the before/after comparison. These options live under Settings → Comparison & Discovery (Pro).
Labels (Pro)
- Before label / After label — rename the text shown over each side (e.g. “Pre-op” / “Post-op”).
- Show labels — toggle the labels on or off entirely.
The free plugin uses the standard “Before” and “After” labels.
Default view mode (Pro)
Choose how the comparison opens. The available modes depend on your layout:
Classic layout
- Split (slider) — the draggable before/after slider (default).
- Before only — show the before image first.
- After only — show the after image first.
- Both — before and after side by side (no slider).
Masonry layout
- Before first, After first, or Both (side by side). The masonry viewer uses a tap/click-to-flip toggle rather than a drag slider.
How visitors interact
- Classic / split: drag the handle (or use arrow keys) to wipe between before and after.
- Masonry: tap the image or the Before/After toggle to flip; swipe to move between image pairs.
- Multiple image pairs are navigated with the on-screen arrows and a pair counter.
