Image annotations

Add numbered hotspot markers with titles and notes to highlight specific areas.

Annotations (Pro) let you place numbered markers on a case’s images to call out exactly what changed — “lifted brow”, “reduced swelling”, and so on.

Adding markers

  1. Open a case in the editor and find the Image Annotations panel.
  2. Select the image pair and side (before or after) you want to annotate.
  3. Click on the image to drop a numbered marker.
  4. Give it a title and an optional note.
  5. Drag a marker to reposition it; click it again to edit or delete.

Marker positions are stored as percentages, so they scale correctly at any image size.

Limits & coverage

  • Up to 30 markers per image side.
  • Markers are stored per image pair, so each additional pair can have its own set.
  • Annotations display in both the Classic and Masonry case modals.

On the front end

Markers appear as small numbered pins over the image. Visitors hover (desktop) or tap (mobile) a pin to reveal its title and note. Tooltips reposition automatically to stay within the image.

Tips

  • Keep titles short; use the note for detail.
  • Annotate the after image to point out results, and the before image to set context.
