Installation & setup
Install the free Medical Before After Gallery plugin, then add and activate the Pro add-on.
The plugin comes in two parts: a free base plugin (required) and an optional Pro add-on that unlocks the premium features. This page covers installing both.
Requirements
- WordPress 5.0 or newer
- PHP 7.4 or newer
- The GD or Imagick PHP image library (needed for cropping and watermarking — most hosts include one). The plugin runs a health check and tells you which is available.
1. Install the free plugin
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for “Medical Before After Gallery”.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
You can also download it from WordPress.org and upload the ZIP under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
After activating, you’ll find a new Before After Gallery menu in the admin sidebar, and a default “All” category is created automatically.
The free plugin alone is fully functional, with a limit of 12 cases and 4 categories.
2. Add the Pro add-on
The Pro add-on extends the free plugin — keep the free plugin active.
- After purchasing Pro, download the Pro add-on ZIP from your account email.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP.
- Click Activate.
If the free plugin isn’t active, Pro will deactivate itself and show a notice — just activate the free plugin first.
3. Activate your Pro license
- Open the Before After Gallery menu — you’ll see a prompt to activate your license.
- Enter the license key from your purchase email and activate.
- Once activated, the case and category limits are removed and all Pro features appear in the dashboard.
Your purchase is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. License status is re-checked automatically on a weekly schedule.
